Websketching is proud to have developed websites and custom applications for the following organizations:
American Scientific Glassblowers Society
ASGS is a professional, non-profit organization of scientific glassblowers and associated members.
The goal was to market and represent the society in a professional way and to clearly express the benefits of membership in order to attract new members to the society, as well as to process renewal memberships online.
Websketching developed a website for ASGS with an online membership application to accept PayPal payments. The original website, which was more technical and geared towards existing members, was still accessible via a members resources link and maintained by their webmaster.
We monitored the sites analytics and make a few changes to the navigation over time. This resulted in a 28.29% increase in pageviews and a 46.53% increase in unique pageviews on the membership/renewal page, even though the sites overall pageviews only increased by 0.43% during the timeframe measured. This indicates that the navigation changes helped guide the traffic to the membership/renewal page. Per feedback from the ASGS webmaster, membership is up and we achieved our goal.
“Christine DeGraff and the Websketching staff have created a professional glimpse of our organization through her website design and maintenance. She's able to provide a complete web experience from concept, design, and implementation. It's been a pleasure working with her for the past 5 years." December 4, 2012

International Labour and Employment Relations Association
The Labour and Employment Relations Association of the United States and its Philadelphia chapter were tasked with organizing the 16th World Congress of ILERA, to be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in July of 2012. Websketching's proposal for a website design and back-end programming was chosen over several Philadelphia web design firms for this multi-year project. The Congress was managed by another of our clients, International Hospitality Services.
A year and a half before the Congress, Websketching designed a viral marketing campaign to "save the date". Members of the organization were invited and shared virtual postcards in the online "tell-a-friend" promotion. Over the next 9 months, Websketching developed the website and backend for the event and items leading up to the event, which included an online "call for papers" and "call for sessions" submission process by potential presenters and a review/acceptance application for the judges. The project also included an online registration process and the ability for administrators to query the database to allow the organizers to create the name tags, program and to track attendance during the event. In total, there were 306 papers submitted to 5 tracks; 28 session proposals submitted to 2 tracks, 550 registrations for the Congress and $284,000 in transactions processed through the system for registration fees and dinner tickets.

"Working with Websketching was a great experience for our association. They created an easy-to-use, intuitive content management system that works for people with a wide range of website development skills. What's more, they're always available to answer questions or help solve problems. We're very pleased with the sharp look and functionality of our new site."
