Woodstown, NJ – (August 30, 2008) Websketching (www.Websketching.com), a local website design company, has just announced the launch of a brand new website designed for the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (www.PhillyPaws.org).
“We were very excited to be chosen to develop a website for such a worthy cause,” said Christine DeGraff, Partner at Websketching. “The number of lives the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) has saved is staggering. I already have a dog and three cats, so I didn’t feel like I was able to take on any more pets; however, I still wanted to help. After talking with my partner, we agreed that we could help save lives by offering to redesign the PhillyPaws.org website at a heavily discounted rate – and we are sure that the money they saved will be put to good use.”
The new website design is intended to showcase adoptable animals and to make it clear to visitors how they can join PAWS’ fight to save lives by adopting, fostering, donating, or volunteering. The website is driven by Websketching’s proprietary content management system which will allow PAWS to maintain the site in-house.
“Websketching’s software is easy to use and gives us a great deal of control over our website. We were impressed with the level of customer service provided by Websketching and we are very pleased with our new look,” said Melissa Levy, Director of Development of the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society.
PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, is a donor-funded division of the Philadelphia Animal Care and Control Association (PACCA), the 501(c)3 organization contracted to provide animal control services for the City of Philadelphia. Taking in approximately 30,000 animals each year and operating the highest volume shelter in the region, PAWS is dedicated to saving the lives of Philadelphia’s homeless, abandoned and unwanted animals.
Adoptable PAWS Dogs will be on hand at this year’s Fido’s Festival, held at the Salem County Fairgrounds on September 6th and 7th. Come meet your new best friend! For more information, please visit www.fidosfestivalusa.com.
